VT Ms Yasufuji F69 7-6-18 Tajima %: 31 SCD/Tend: P
Admirers of the foundation bull, Itomichi, will love this pedigree. Itomichi is a backbone bull to much of the Australian wagyu genetics. He is known for his large Shimane frame, good milk and above average marbling for a Shimane sire, and for all black wagyu.
The sire’s side couples the Shimane background with Kimifuku 3, out of Tanifuku Doi, adding in some Tajima genetics.
And the dam’s side adds in its Tajima component via Yasufuku Jr, one of the top marbling foundation sires and a carcass winning lineage in Japan.
Her daily rate of weight gain has been 2.0 lbs. per day, placing her at the head of the VT Wagyu herd. We project a first-year weight of 685 lbs.
