Hot Honey + Soy Sauce Beef Stir Fry

(Serves 2)

Featured Cut: Baseball Sirloin

Ingredients:

Sauce

3 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. Hot Honey (we recommend Red Clay Hot Honey)
1½ Tbsp. oyster sauce
3 Tbsp. beef stock
1 Tbsp. hot sauce (we recommend Red Clay Hot Sauce)
Pinch of ground pepper


Stir Fry

1 ½ Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small red onion
2 cups green cabbage, coarsely shredded
½ cup carrots, coarsely shredded
1 Vermont Wagyu Baseball Sirloin, sliced thinly

To Make:
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the sauce.
  2. Add vegetable oil to a large wok and heat over high heat, allowing oil to begin smoking slightly.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and saute for 1 minute.
  4. Add cabbage and carrots and saute for another minute, tossing continuously. 
  5. Remove the vegetables from the wok and set aside, then add slices of Baseball Sirloin, tossing continuously for 3-5 minutes, until your desired doneness.
  6. Reduce heat to medium high, add the sauce to the skillet, and cook until the mixture thickens.
  7. Add the vegetables back to the wok and toss for about 1 minute. until warmed through and coated in the sauce.
  8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
