Jordan Hanger’s (@Ninjacue) Flat Iron Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

Flat Iron with Chimichurri

 

Featured Cut: Flat Iron

Chimichurri Ingredients:

1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped 
3 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar 
2 cloves of garlic, garlic 
Sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes
Kosher salt and cracked pepper to taste 
*Add more olive oil or red wine vinegar to get your desired consistency* 

To Make:

  1.  Mix the ingredients for the chimichurri sauce together in a medium bowl then set aside
  2. Season the Flat Iron steak with salt, pepper and a pinch of garlic powder.
  3. Pre-heat the grill, cook the steak to medium rare (135 degrees), then rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  4. Serve with chimichurri.
